A lower grade does not necessarily mean lower quality; it indicates suitability for specific nutritional requirements.

  • A+ (Elite): Outstanding quality and appeal.
  • A (Premium): Exceptional nutrition and appearance.
  • B+ (Very Good): Clean, leafy, minor cosmetic imperfections.
  • B (Good): Dependable, suitable for most horses.
  • B- (Good): Better suited for specific feeding goals.
  • C (Maintenance): Economical, for horses with lower requirements.
