A lower grade does not necessarily mean lower quality; it indicates suitability for specific nutritional requirements.
- A+ (Elite): Outstanding quality and appeal.
- A (Premium): Exceptional nutrition and appearance.
- B+ (Very Good): Clean, leafy, minor cosmetic imperfections.
- B (Good): Dependable, suitable for most horses.
- B- (Good): Better suited for specific feeding goals.
- C (Maintenance): Economical, for horses with lower requirements.
